This is stated in the <a href=\\\"https:\/\/uitspraken.rechtspraak.nl\/inziendocument?id=ECLI:NL:RBROT:2021:2968\\\" target=\\\"_blank\\\" rel=\\\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\\\">ruling<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>In November 2020, the local Bitcoin exchange Bitonic <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/dutch-bitcoin-exchange-bitonic-requires-users-to-submit-wallet-screenshots\">obliged<\/a> users to take screenshots of wallets or send a signed message in accordance with the regulator&#8217;s instructions. In January 2021, the trading platform <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/bitonic-sues-the-dutch-central-bank\">requested<\/a> clarification of the KYC verification procedure.<\/p>\n<p>The court pointed to a list of measures Bitonic has taken to curb illicit transactions.
