The data come from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theblockcrypto.com\/linked\/101283\/twice-as-many-big-crypto-vc-deals-in-2021-than-2020\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">The Block Research<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>According to the study, in the first quarter of 2021 venture investors closed seven deals worth more than $100 million each, compared with four in 2020. In the first three months of 2021 the figure rose to $12.7 million.<\/p>\n<p>In the first quarter, venture capital investment volume in crypto companies <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/crypto-firms-raise-more-venture-capital-in-q1-than-in-all-of-2020\">was around $2.6 billion<\/a>, according to CB Insights.
