The investor did not disclose the value of his crypto portfolio.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\\\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\\\">\n<p>\\&#8221;It&#8217;s a pity I didn&#8217;t buy Ethereum sooner. I only started buying it four years ago,\\&#8221; Cuban added.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>He also noted that the recent success of decentralised finance and non-fungible tokens (NFTs) convinced him to believe in the crypto industry.<\/p>\n<p>According to Cuban, Ethereum best matches his concept of the proper form of money due to its decentralised economy based on smart contracts. He compared Ethereum&#8217;s growth to the development of the Internet in the late 1990s.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\\\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\\\">\n<p>\\&#8221;As the Internet began to come into our lives, a range of applications appeared that could change the course of things as we knew them in the analogue world,\\&#8221; the billionaire noted.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>In February, Cuban <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/mark-cuban-bitcoin-is-not-a-currency-but-a-store-of-value\">dubbed Bitcoin a &#8216;store of value, not a currency&#8217;<\/a>. In January, he compared the first cryptocurrency <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/mark-cuban-compares-bitcoin-to-amazon-during-the-dot-com-bubble\">to Amazon during the dot-com bubble<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, Cuban <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/mark-cuban-lists-his-quote-as-an-nft\">a motivational quote in the form of an NFT<\/a>. He also <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/nft-social-network-niftys-secures-investment-from-mark-cuban-and-joseph-lubin\">invested in the social-media platform Nifty\u2019s<\/a>, aimed at collectors and creators of non-fungible tokens.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, the billionaire <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/mark-cuban-buys-dogecoin-for-his-11-year-old-son-for-educational-purposes\">bought Dogecoin for his 11-year-old son<\/a> for educational purposes.
