{"id":40027,"date":"2021-04-02T13:30:55","date_gmt":"2021-04-02T10:30:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/?p=40027"},"modified":"2025-08-30T12:15:22","modified_gmt":"2025-08-30T09:15:22","slug":"russian-court-fines-twitter-8-9-million-rubles","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/russian-court-fines-twitter-8-9-million-rubles\/","title":{"rendered":"Russian court fines Twitter 8.9 million rubles"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Tagansky district court in Moscow fined Twitter 3.2 million rubles for refusing to remove information calling on minors to participate in an unauthorised protest, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/tass.ru\/obschestvo\/11058279\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">TASS<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The court found Twitter guilty under part 2 of Article 13.41 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation \u2014 &#8220;violation of the procedure for restricting access to information, access to which is subject to restriction under Russian law.&#8221;<\/p>\n<div class=\"wp-block-text-wrappers-update article_update\"><span class=\"gtb_text-wrappers_update_head\">Update: <\/span><\/p>\n<p>The court fined Twitter a further 3.3 million rubles.
