They will trade on Nasdaq under the ticker COIN.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">We\u2019re happy to announce that earlier today, the SEC declared our S-1 registration statement effective and that we expect our direct listing to occur on April 14, 2021, with our Class A common stock trading on the <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Nasdaq?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@NASDAQ<\/a> under the ticker symbol COIN.<a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/cwRZWmj9Pv\">https:\/\/t.co\/cwRZWmj9Pv<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Coinbase \ud83d\udee1\ufe0f (@coinbase) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/coinbase\/status\/1377714348991205377?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">April 1, 2021<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n<\/div>\n<\/figure>\n<p>On April 1, the SEC approved the company&#8217;s S-1 filing. According to the document, <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/coinbase-to-list-114-9-million-class-a-shares-in-direct-listing\">the exchange will place 114,850,769 shares<\/a>.
