We hope that other companies in the industry will follow our lead,\\&#8221; said Argo CEO Peter Wall.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>\\n\\n\\n<\/p>\n<p>Bitcoin critics have traditionally pointed to the <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/bitcoin-mining-outstrips-argentina-in-electricity-use\">high energy consumption of cryptocurrency mining<\/a>, which, in their view, leads to higher carbon emissions.
