Bids will open on March 29 and run for 48 hours, the agency said <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gsa.gov\/about-us\/newsroom\/news-releases\/get-ready-for-cryptocurrency-spring-fever-on-gsa-auctions-03242021\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">on the site<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Authorities put up ten lots with a total of 6.79 BTC (~$355,700 at the time of writing). The GSA did not specify where the digital gold came from.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>&#8220;Our first steps into the cryptocurrency market were among the hottest auctions of 2021, but in fact it was only a pilot launch [\u2026] We expect these trades will generate even greater interest among cryptocurrency investors,&#8221; said the agency&#8217;s regional commissioner, Thomas Meyron.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Earlier the GSA<a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/us-authorities-put-up-0-7501-btc-for-auction\"> announced the sale<\/a> of 0.7501 BTC.
