The total market value of the USD Coin (USDC) stablecoin from the Centre consortium has surpassed the $10bn mark.<\/p>\n

The aggregate capitalisation of all stablecoins is approaching $60bn.<\/p>\n

USDC’s share of the total stablecoin supply stands at 16.69%. The perennial leader of the segment \u2014 Tether (USDT) \u2014 holds 69.95%.<\/p>\n

Tether’s total market value is $39.68bn. The asset sits at fifth in CoinGecko’s ranking, contending for market capitalisation with Binance Coin, Cardano and Polkadot. The most USDT is issued on the Ethereum and Tron blockchains.<\/p>\n

ForkLog reported<\/a> that the pace of USDC issuance surpassed USDT’s metrics.<\/p>\n

In early March USDC began operating on the Stellar blockchain<\/a>.<\/p>\n
