They <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/paradigm-led-30-million-fireblocks-round\"><span style=\\\"font-weight: 400;\\\">backed<\/span><\/a> Fireblocks <span style=\\\"font-weight: 400;\\\">at an earlier stage in November.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\\\"font-weight: 400;\\\">Strategic investors in the current round were Silicon Valley Bank and the BNY Mellon holding company. The latter announced in February plans to add <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/americas-oldest-bank-to-offer-bitcoin-custody-services\"><span style=\\\"font-weight: 400;\\\">Bitcoin operations<\/span><\/a><span style=\\\"font-weight: 400;\\\"> and other cryptocurrencies to its services. Assets held in custody by the bank amount to $41.1 trillion.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\\\"font-weight: 400;\\\">Total funding raised by the company amounted to $179 million.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><i><span style=\\\"font-weight: 400;\\\">\u201cFintech startups and banks need not only infrastructure for custody and settlement, but also the ability to create new digital offerings. Investor support will enable the growth of the client base.\u201d<\/span><\/i><span style=\\\"font-weight: 400;\\\">, \u2014 said Fireblocks CEO Mikhail Shaulov.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\\\"font-weight: 400;\\\">Investors taking part in the round view Fireblocks as a crucial link in the developing digital assets industry.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><i><span style=\\\"font-weight: 400;\\\">\u201cWe are on the cusp of the greatest transformation the global financial system has ever seen.
