I am extremely grateful to him not only for appreciating my work, but also, more importantly, for digital art,&#8221; wrote Beeple.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Tron founder Justin Sun said he participated in the auction, but he did not manage to acquire the NFT.<\/p>\n<p><script async=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/telegram.org\/js\/telegram-widget.js?14\" data-telegram-post=\"forklog\/18070\" data-width=\"100%\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>The work &#8220;Everydays: The First 5000 Days&#8221; <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/beeples-nft-sells-at-christies-for-69-3-million\">went under the hammer for $69.3 million<\/a> at Christie&#8217;s auction. The final bid stood at $60.3 million, with commissions included in the price. The auction house noted that this made Winkelmann one of the most valuable living artists.<\/p>\n<p>Everydays: The First 5000 Days is a collage of thousands of Winkelmann&#8217;s works published on the internet since 2007. The auctions <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/christies-to-auction-beeple-nft\">announced<\/a> February 16.<\/p>\n<p>In late February, the Beeple NFT token featuring Trump <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/beeples-trump-nft-crossroad-resold-for-6-6-million\">was resold for $6.6 million<\/a>. In December 2020, the artist earned $582,000 for &#8220;Crossroad&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>In March, Twitter founder Jack Dorsey <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/jack-dorsey-puts-his-first-tweet-up-for-sale-justin-sun-offers-2-million\">put up for sale<\/a> his first tweet as an NFT. As of writing, the top bid had reached $2.5 million.
