Twitter users joked that someone had decided to &#8216;retire&#8217;. Prior to this, Glassnode noted that starting from <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/unknown-mover-shifted-1000-btc-that-had-lain-dormant-since-2010\">a similar transaction<\/a> on December 28, 2020, all moves of large batches of old coins nearly perfectly aligned with local price highs, after which the price tended to fall.<\/p>\n<p>In the same month, unknown <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/unknown-mover-moved-2189-btc-that-had-lain-idle-since-2013\">transferred 2189 BTC<\/a>, consolidated onto an address created in 2013.<\/p>\n<p>ForkLog reported <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/study-finds-8000-bitcoins-mined-in-2010-belong-to-coinbase\">the movement of 8000 BTC<\/a> mined in 2010.
