Kraken CEO Jesse Powell said in an interview with Bloomberg<\/a> that Bitcoin has infinite growth potential as digital gold.<\/p>\n

According to him, soon people will begin quoting prices in Bitcoin. Powell added that the dollar is \\”only 50 years old\\” and is \\”already showing extreme signs of weakness\\”.<\/p>\n

\n

\\”We can only speculate, but when you measure Bitcoin in dollars, you should understand that the potential for price growth is infinite,\\” said the Kraken CEO.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The executive is confident that Bitcoin will become the most popular store of wealth, with gold taking a back seat. He forecast Bitcoin’s price to reach $1 million within 10 years.<\/p>\n

\n

\\”If you buy Bitcoin for speculation, you should be prepared to hold it for five years,\\” Powell noted.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Powell added that Kraken could become a publicly traded company in 2022.<\/p>\n

In February, Bloomberg reported that the trading platform was considering raising additional financing<\/a>, which would allow its valuation to more than double from the current level of $5 billion.<\/p>\n

As reported on February 22, Ethereum on Kraken fell to $700, while on other platforms it fell only to $1,400. The management promised to partially reimburse<\/a> user losses.<\/p>\n
