On February 23, the price of the first cryptocurrency <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/bitcoin-price-hits-45000-as-market-capitalization-falls-below-900-billion\">reached the $45,000 mark<\/a>. As of writing, the asset was trading at around $46,600. The market capitalization of digital gold stands at $859 billion, according to CoinGecko.<\/p>\n<p>\\n<\/p>\n<p>According to a report by analytics firm Glassnode, in February large Bitcoin holders <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/glassnode-whales-trimmed-140000-btc-in-february\">reduced their holdings by 140,000 BTC<\/a>. They could have realized profits at all-time highs.<\/p>\n<p>\\n<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, JPMorgan urged investors to forget about digital gold in favor of fintech, and called the first cryptocurrency an &#8220;economic attraction&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>\\n<\/p>\n<p>Analysts at the financial holding have previously <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/jpmorgan-volatility-could-prevent-bitcoin-from-holding-at-50000\">criticized Bitcoin for its volatility<\/a>.
