Of the pyramids operating online, 16% offered investments in cryptocurrencies, <\/span><a href=\\\"https:\/\/www.rbc.ru\/finances\/10\/02\/2021\/6023c02c9a79474ef6d892b8\\\" target=\\\"_blank\\\" rel=\\\"noopener\\\"><span style=\\\"font-weight: 400;\\\">said<\/span><\/a><span style=\\\"font-weight: 400;\\\"> Valery Lyakh, head of the Bank of Russia&#8217;s Department for Combating Unfair Practices.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\\n<\/p>\n<p><span style=\\\"font-weight: 400;\\\">He also stressed that criminals often lure funds into supposedly future or little-known cryptocurrencies, while investment projects in Bitcoin have diminished.
