In an interview he called the post in r\/Bitcoin a joke.<\/p>\n<p>According to the young man, he saw a Twitter exchange between Elon Musk and MicroStrategy head Michael Saylor about <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/elon-musk-questions-bitcoins-use-in-large-transactions\">large transactions<\/a> in the Bitcoin network.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cI thought: why not have him buy Bitcoin? He is crazy, and he has plenty of money, so why not?\u201d, the student said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>News that <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/elon-musks-tesla-invested-1-5-billion-in-bitcoin-the-assets-price-rose-to-44800\">Tesla invested $1.5 bn<\/a> in digital gold appeared on February 8. On February 9, the first cryptocurrency <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/bitcoin-price-tests-48000\">hit the $48,000 mark<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>As of writing, the digital gold was trading around $47,150.
