{"id":35986,"date":"2021-02-07T12:48:37","date_gmt":"2021-02-07T10:48:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/?p=35986"},"modified":"2025-08-29T04:02:54","modified_gmt":"2025-08-29T01:02:54","slug":"bill-millers-fund-plans-to-invest-up-to-337-million-in-bitcoin","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/bill-millers-fund-plans-to-invest-up-to-337-million-in-bitcoin\/","title":{"rendered":"Bill Miller&#8217;s fund plans to invest up to $337 million in Bitcoin"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Founded by famed investor Bill Miller, Miller Opportunity Trust, with assets of $2.25 billion, plans to invest 15% of them in Grayscale Bitcoin Trust, according to a <a href=\\\"https:\/\/www.sec.gov\/Archives\/edgar\/data\/1261788\/000089418921000791\/milleropportunitytrust485a.htm\\\" target=\\\"_blank\\\" rel=\\\"noopener noreferrer\\\">document<\/a>.<!\u2014more--><\/p>\n<p>In it, the fund notified the regulator that it &#8220;may seek indirect exposure to Bitcoin through investments in the Grayscale Bitcoin Trust&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>The Trust, managed by Bill Miller and Samantha McLemore, will cap investments when it allocates up to 15% of its assets, or about $337 million, to the Bitcoin Trust.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Miller Opportunity Trust website, at the time of writing the largest share of the fund\u2019s assets was in Uber stock, at 6.1%.<\/p>\n<p>In January, Miller expressed confidence that <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/bill-miller-bitcoin-price-could-rise-significantly-above-current-levels\">has not yet exhausted its growth potential<\/a>.
