The results will be announced on February 10.<\/p>\n<p>\\n<\/p>\n<p>Winners will be able to spend the funds from February 10 to 26 on JD.com and in select stores in the city.<\/p>\n<p>\\n<\/p>\n<p>On December 12, Suzhou authorities <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/suzhou-to-pilot-digital-yuan-distribution-through-red-packets\">distributed &#8216;red envelopes&#8217;<\/a> with digital yuan amounting to about $1.5 million. Previously in October, Shenzhen authorities <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/digital-yuan-airdrop-drew-nearly-2-million-people\">conducted the first distribution<\/a> of the national digital currency (DCEP) among the population.<\/p>\n<p>\\n<\/p>\n<p>In January in Shenzhen, <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/shenzhen-to-hold-third-mass-test-of-digital-yuan\">repeated the mass experiment<\/a> in the use of DCEP. Residents received 20 million digital yuan worth about $3.1 million. This was the third red envelope lottery.<\/p>\n<p>\\n<\/p>\n<p>The digital yuan testing also took place in Chengdu, where <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/another-chinese-city-to-distribute-digital-yuan\">distributed 30 million digital yuan<\/a> (about $5 million).
