This accounted for 43% of the <a href=\"https:\/\/finance.yahoo.com\/quote\/MSTR\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">\u0440\u044b\u043d\u043e\u0447\u043d\u043e\u0439 \u043a\u0430\u043f\u0438\u0442\u0430\u043b\u0438\u0437\u0430\u0446\u0438\u0438 \u043a\u043e\u043c\u043f\u0430\u043d\u0438\u0438<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Unrealized gains from deals with digital gold amount to about $1.255 billion. Return on investment (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.investopedia.com\/articles\/basics\/10\/guide-to-calculating-roi.asp#:~:text=ROI%20is%20calculated%20by%20subtracting,finally%2C%20multiplying%20it%20by%20100.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">ROI<\/a>) can be estimated at 109%.<\/p>\n<p>In August 2020, the company <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/microstrategy-becomes-the-first-nasdaq-listed-company-to-invest-part-of-its-capital-in-bitcoin\">bought 21,454 BTC<\/a> for about $250 million. A month later the firm invested <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/microstrategy-bets-another-175-million-on-bitcoin\">another $175 million<\/a> in Bitcoin, and in December \u2014 <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/microstrategy-invests-another-650-million-in-bitcoin\">additional $650 million<\/a>, raised through a debt offering.
