Regulators could complicate the launch of applications built on this blockchain, Alden said.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cPerhaps, in the next five years, when Ethereum 2.0 is fully rolled out, this asset could be called a completed project, like Bitcoin. But for now it is just an experiment,\u201d said the investment strategist.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Alden noted large \u201ccultural differences\u201d between the two leading digital assets. Bitcoin&#8217;s supply is capped at 21 million BTC, while Ethereum features a discretionary monetary policy.<\/p>\n<p>According to her, the first cryptocurrency has significant upside potential despite high volatility. Against the backdrop of inflation in fiat currencies, digital gold will continue to rise, the expert said.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cBitcoin does not wipe out everything in its path like many alts. It moves slowly, but in the right direction.
