He announced it in a post on <a href=\\\"https:\/\/www.voice.com\/post\/@dan\/resignation-as-cto-of-blockone-1610285996-1071500676\\\" target=\\\"_blank\\\" rel=\\\"noopener noreferrer\\\">\u043e\u043d \u0441\u043e\u043e\u0431\u0449\u0438\u043b \u0432 \u043f\u0443\u0431\u043b\u0438\u043a\u0430\u0446\u0438\u0438 \u043d\u0430 voice.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\\n<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>\\n<\/p>\n<p>The developer stressed that he no longer believes in delivering \u201cfreedom as a service\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>\\n<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cI will focus on building tools that will allow people to defend their freedoms.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>\\n<\/p>\n<p>The decision took effect on December 31, 2020.<\/p>\n<p>\\n<\/p>\n<p>Against this backdrop, the EOS price fell about 15%, to around $3.<\/p>\n<p>\\n<\/p>\n<p>Larimer developed the Delegated Proof-Of-Stake (DPoS) consensus algorithm and the Graphene technology.
