Update:<\/strong> After clearing above $40,400, the price moved into a correction and fell to around $37,000.<\/p>\n

Around 19:00 MSK took<\/a> $39 000<\/a>. The previous round figure \u2014 $38 000<\/a> \u2014 yielded to the leading cryptocurrency around 15:00 MSK.<\/p>\n

The gap between the 2017 high near $20,000 and the current $40,000 has been closed in less than a month.<\/p>\n

The price of Ethereum reached $1,288, approaching the all-time high of $1,448, recorded on 13 January 2018 (per CoinGecko<\/a>).<\/p>\n
