It also <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/microstrategy-to-raise-400-million-for-additional-bitcoin-investments\">surpassed<\/a> the initially stated financing amount by $250 million.<\/p>\n<p>MicroStrategy offered accredited investors unsecured convertible senior notes bearing a coupon of 0.75%. Interest is to be paid semi-annually, starting in 2021. The maturity date is December 15, 2025, unless the company redeems or converts the notes earlier.<\/p>\n<p>Information about the buyers of the debt instruments is not disclosed.<\/p>\n<p>On December 5, MicroStrategy CEO Michael Saylor announced <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/microstrategy-invests-another-50-million-in-bitcoin-at-just-over-19000-per-coin\">the third investment in digital gold to date<\/a>.
