The exchange itself <a href=\\\"https:\/\/blog.coinbase.com\/coinbase-is-helping-corporate-companies-diversify-with-crypto-444e8d91ebca\\\" target=\\\"_blank\\\" rel=\\\"noopener noreferrer\\\">reported<\/a> this.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>\\n<\/p>\n<p>The Coinbase Prime service was built on the Tagomi platform, acquired in May. Using it, MicroStrategy invested $250 million in Bitcoin in <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/microstrategy-becomes-the-first-nasdaq-listed-company-to-invest-part-of-its-capital-in-bitcoin\">August<\/a> and $175 million in <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/microstrategy-bets-another-175-million-on-bitcoin\">September<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\\n<\/p>\n<p>According to Coinbase representatives, their solution distinguishes itself by featuring a \\&#8221;smart order routing\\&#8221; system, trading algorithms, and additional services.<\/p>\n<p>\\n<\/p>\n<p>Before finalising the large investment deal, the exchange conducted a &#8216;test operation&#8217;, determining for MicroStrategy the optimal pace of purchases to mitigate volatility.<\/p>\n<p>\\n<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\\&#8221;Our system splits a large order into a multitude of smaller parts, which are executed across various trading platforms.
