The service had been unavailable since October 16 \u2014 when the exchange <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/okex-suspends-withdrawals-media-report-founder-detained\">announced<\/a> a loss of contact with one of the private-key holders.<\/p>\n<p>Media speculated that this referred to the founder Star Xu, but representatives denied these reports.
