To exploit the potential advantages of stablecoins, authorities will propose a regulatory approach, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/news\/chancellor-sets-out-ambition-for-future-of-uk-financial-services\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">\u0433\u043e\u0432\u043e\u0440\u0438\u0442\u0441\u044f<\/a> in the press release.<\/p>\n<p>The Bank of England and the Treasury will study CBDCs as a complement to cash.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cOur plans will advance the UK as an open, attractive and well-regulated market,\u201d said Sunak.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Earlier, in March, the Bank of England said that CBDC would function as a store of value.
