Source: Glassnode.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Over the last week the metric rose by 2.2%, coinciding with an <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/bitcoin-hits-2020-high-above-13000\">update<\/a> to Bitcoin prices at 2020 highs. In that period, the first cryptocurrency rose 13%, the largest gain since April. One of the drivers of the rise was news of the <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/paypal-to-enable-buying-selling-and-holding-bitcoin-and-other-cryptocurrencies\">addition<\/a> of PayPal&#8217;s support for bitcoin.<\/p>\n<p>According to analyst Willy Woo, many wealthy investors view bitcoin as a hedge against inflation.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Many look at the BTC price and doubt it\u2019s a hedge. Also <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/stone-ridge-holdings-group-nydigs-parent-buys-10000-btc\">followed<\/a> suit at Stone Ridge Holdings Group.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, the Gemini cryptocurrency exchange founders, the Winklevoss brothers, <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/winklevoss-brothers-500000-per-bitcoin-is-only-a-matter-of-time\">confirmed<\/a> their previous forecast for Bitcoin to reach $500,000.
