According to him, the genesis block in the network is expected to appear in six to eight weeks.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The deposit contract allows sending ETH from the existing network to Ethereum 2.0, confirming the authority of the stakers. Edgington noted that Phase 0 of ETH 2.0 should be launched as soon as possible.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>&#8220;I think people are tired of tests. It&#8217;s time to move forward,&#8221; he wrote.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>After the genesis block appears, developers will lock 500 000 ETH for staking.
