According to <a href=\"https:\/\/coinmarketcap.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">CoinMarketCap<\/a>, at the time of writing it is about $67.5. In his view, because FIL is significantly more popular in China, it could become a mainstream cryptocurrency with the widest price divergence between the East and the West.<\/p>\n<p>In the company behind Filecoin, Protocol Labs <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/filecoin-mainnet-launch-slated-for-october-15\">named<\/a> the date of the mainnet launch as October 15, originally set to late September.<\/p>\n<p>Initially the event was planned for mid-2019; in September that year it was postponed to the first\u2013second quarters of 2020.
