In all his roles, he has worked with the Asia-Pacific region.<\/p>\n<p>This direction remains a priority for the exchange, Gemini said. They expect Meehan&#8217;s experience to be pivotal in advancing Gemini&#8217;s regulatory and compliance efforts in the region.<\/p>\n<p>The Winklevoss brothers&#8217; exchange began expanding into Asian markets several years ago. In October 2016 it broadened its service footprint to Hong Kong and Singapore, and a month later began operations in Japan and South Korea.<\/p>\n<p>Gemini has also shown interest in other countries.
