The announcement was made by the company&#8217;s chief executive and the co-founder of the second-largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization, Joseph Lubin.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The creation of Mesh is part of a broader plan to separate venture activity from software development.<\/p>\n<p>Under this banner, ConsenSys will bring together management of more than a hundred startups, including BlockFi, Trustology and Compound Labs.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cMesh will continue the mission of advancing decentralized protocols, infrastructure and applications. We aim to develop the Ethereum ecosystem and increase convergence across full Web3 and DeFi stacks,\u201d Lubin explained the essence of the undertaking.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Mesh will keep exploring the bleeding edge of our increasingly diverse and innovative ecosystem. Among them are the transition to ETH2, gas-cost optimization and scalable solutions, risk management, and network-level collaboration. Ten days later, <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/unplanned-fork-on-the-ethereum-2-0-testnet\">a glitch occurred<\/a> in the network, but Prysmatic Labs developer Raul Jordan <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/eth-2-0-developers-confirm-phase-0-launch-this-year-amid-testnet-problems\">ruled out<\/a> delaying the launch of Phase 0.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier developer Evan Van Ness <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/opinion-ethereum-2-0-launch-weeks-away\">reported<\/a> that the Ethereum 2.0 launch could occur earlier than planned.
