A sixth of them prefer to put their money into cryptocurrency, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.forbes.ru\/forbes-woman\/409289-rossiya-zanyala-vtoroe-mesto-v-mire-po-kolichestvu-zhenshchin-investorov\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Forbes writes<\/a> citing a study by Investing.com.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Analysts analysed statistics across 33 countries and found that the most active investors are Spanish women\u201437%, Russian women in second place\u201433%, followed by Italian and Korean women\u201428%, American women bringing up the rear of the top five\u201427%.<\/p>\n<p>The number of stock investors in Russia has been growing since early 2020. In August, the Moscow Exchange registered 6.2 million private investors, 2.4 million more than in January. At the same time, the number of women investors has tripled over five years.<\/p>\n<p>Investing&#8217;s survey showed that investment preferences among women and men in Russia are similar: the majority are drawn to shares of large companies \u2013 90%, currency \u2013 45% and exchange-traded funds (ETFs) \u2013 44%. 56% of respondents invest in mutual funds, 33% in bank deposits, and 28% in real estate.<\/p>\n<p>Women show more interest in cryptocurrency\u201416% of respondents.<\/p>\n<p>Russian women also tend to invest in large Russian players\u2014Sberbank, Norilsk Nickel, Lukoil, Magnit and Gazprom\u2014these attract women more.
