From 26 to 30 October in Moscow, the international exhibition-and-fair of ultramodern digital art and design, Disartive, will be held.<\/p>\n
It will feature digital avatars, video game characters and virtual worlds, as well as works by young artists and designers.<\/p>\n
The project’s founders Olga Dvortskaia and Evgeny Dobrovolsky assess the market potential of digital art and design at $10 billion.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cSuch an estimate is based on the rapid development of the market for visual digital objects. It includes works by already well-known contemporary artists using digital technologies, as well as entirely new directions that make up the potential market,\u201d they told ForkLog.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
All digital objects presented at the fair will be available for purchase. Following the fair, the organizers will release a catalog listing the participating works, with descriptions and prices.<\/p>\n
The project\u2019s partner is Lanit-Integration. Its developers created a digital avatar Maxim, who will become the fair\u2019s main character. He will moderate a discussion on the prospects for the development of the digital art and design market.<\/p>\n
Visitors to the fair can expect a business program with international experts, among them Ilya Flaks, head of the Lanit Competence Center in AR and VR; Alexander Lavrov, president of Vrara and founder of Next.Space; Anastasia Glebova, co-founder of the V-Art platform; and XR artist Denis Semenov.<\/p>\n
On October 29 at the National Hotel there will be the main panel discussion, the awarding of the New Medici prize laureates, and the Art Time digital art auction, which you can attend by invitation or by taking part in a draw for Kirill Reyva’s painting \u201cFlower of Civilizations.\u201d<\/p>\n
The program will conclude with a VR party at ARENA SPACE.<\/p>\n
Broadcasts of the event will take place at Skolkovo Technopark and the National Hotel, where there will also be an exhibition of AR-based digital sculptures.<\/p>\n
