After that, the ETH stake would be pruned or separated by a soft fork. In the founder&#8217;s view, this is the &#8220;fundamental advantage of PoS&#8221; over Proof-of-Work.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">In PoW, on the other hand, a successful attacker can just attack over and over again, with no possible way to delete their hardware without deleting everyone else\u2019s hardware.
