The production network was compromised, and the operating logic of account and risk control related servers was modified, enabling the attacker to withdraw\u2026 <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/GkxlNIUs6A\">pic.twitter.com\/GkxlNIUs6A<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 SlowMist (@SlowMist_Team) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/SlowMist_Team\/status\/1945346830222680330?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">July 16, 2025<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p> <script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>The hackers managed to compromise the production network and alter the operating logic of servers responsible for accounts and risk control. Private keys remained secure.<\/p>\n<p>The exchange <a href=\"https:\/\/bigone.zendesk.com\/hc\/en-us\/articles\/48916067512345-BigONE-Security-Incident-Disclosure-and-Progress-Update-July-16\">confirmed<\/a> the incident and provided the following updates:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The attack vector has been identified and blocked, preventing further losses;<\/li>\n<li>The team is working with SlowMist to track the hackers&#8217; addresses and the movement of stolen assets;<\/li>\n<li>Efforts are underway to restore the infrastructure;<\/li>\n<li>Deposits and trading will be restored within a few hours;<\/li>\n<li>Withdrawals will be available later, following the integration of additional security measures.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The platform has promised to cover all losses from its own funds. User funds will not be affected, as internal reserves in BTC, ETH, USDT, SOL, and XIN will be used. For other stolen tokens, borrowed funds are expected to be utilized.<\/p>\n<p>Back in June, the Iranian cryptocurrency exchange Nobitex <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/hackers-breach-iranian-exchange-nobitex-for-81-7-million\">was hacked<\/a> for $81.7 million.
