Data: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tradingview.com\/symbols\/SOLETH\/\">TradingView<\/a>.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Currently, the yield from locking SOL stands at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.stakingrewards.com\/assets\/proof-of-stake?sort=staking_marketcap&#038;timeframe=7d&#038;order=desc&#038;byChange=false&#038;columns=reward_rate%2Cprice%2Cstaking_marketcap%2Cstaking_ratio%2Creputation%2Cnet_staking_flow_7d\">8.31% annually<\/a>, while for ETH it is 2.98%.<\/p>\n<p>According to DeFi Llama, the total market value of liquid staking tokens in Ethereum is estimated at <a href=\"https:\/\/defillama.com\/protocols\/Liquid%20Staking\/Ethereum\">$21.9 billion<\/a>, and in Solana \u2014 <a href=\"https:\/\/defillama.com\/protocols\/Liquid%20Staking\/Solana\">$7.22 billion<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Is There Cause for Celebration?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Experts have questioned the positive interpretation of Solana&#8217;s success.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>\u201c65% of Solana&#8217;s capitalization is locked in PoS. [&#8230;] The token has no other use, which is a bearish factor.
