This was reported by <a href=\"https:\/\/fortune.com\/crypto\/2025\/03\/25\/paul-atkins-sec-nominee-securitize-anchorage-off-the-chain-capital-6-million-ethics-disclosure\/\">Fortune<\/a>, citing the politician&#8217;s income statement.<\/p>\n<p>The information was disclosed ahead of Atkins&#8217; Senate confirmation hearing, scheduled for March 27.<\/p>\n<p>According to the documents, the nominee served on the board of directors of Securitize and holds company options valued up to $500,000. Additionally, Atkins invested between $250,000 and $500,000 in Anchorage Digital. His stake in the crypto fund Off the Chain Capital ranges from $1 million to $5 million.<\/p>\n<p>However, neither Atkins nor his family directly own cryptocurrencies. According to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/news\/articles\/2025-03-25\/sec-chair-nominee-paul-atkins-spouse-worth-at-least-327-million\">Bloomberg<\/a>, his combined wealth with his spouse is estimated at $327 million.<\/p>\n<p>Trump <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/trump-nominates-paul-atkins-as-sec-chair\">nominated<\/a> Atkins for the SEC chair position in December 2024.
