Trader Matthew Hyland interpreted this as a sign that the sector has hit bottom.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\"><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/Crypto?src=hash&#038;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#Crypto<\/a> received the worst possible news of 2025 today yet Alts hardly sold off and some are in the green<\/p>\n<p>Why?<\/p>\n<p>1)Sellers exhausted<br \/>2)Markets are forward looking; possible the market already sniffed this news out prior hence the capitulation a week ago<\/p>\n<p>If you told anyone\u2026<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Matthew Hyland (@MatthewHyland_) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/MatthewHyland_\/status\/1889420435189559739?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">February 11, 2025<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p> <script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>The expert cited two reasons explaining the situation:<\/p>\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Exhaustion of sellers.<\/li>\n<li>The market had already priced in the news a week ago, leading to a major buyer capitulation.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>&#8220;If you had told anyone yesterday that Powell would announce a refusal to [restart] <a href=\"https:\/\/ru.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/%D0%9A%D0%BE%D0%BB%D0%B8%D1%87%D0%B5%D1%81%D1%82%D0%B2%D0%B5%D0%BD%D0%BD%D0%BE%D0%B5_%D1%81%D0%BC%D1%8F%D0%B3%D1%87%D0%B5%D0%BD%D0%B8%D0%B5\" title=\"\">QE<\/a> until the key rate is reduced to zero, most would have expected another massive sell-off to recent lows. That didn&#8217;t happen.
