Recently, the project <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/ai-project-ai16z-rebrands-as-elizaos\">changed its name<\/a> to ElizaOS. The token ticker remained the same.<\/p>\n<p>VVV is the <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/eric-voorhees-venice-ai-platform-launches-token-on-base-network\">token of a privacy-focused AI platform<\/a> Venice from Erik Voorhees.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>&#8220;Binance futures listings have become a death trap for many popular tokens of late, from AI16Z to VINE. Rather than facilitating healthy price discovery, these listings create an easy way for traders to short assets aggressively, dumping them on spot,&#8221; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theblock.co\/post\/339220\/ai16z-and-vvv-see-double-digit-price-drops-since-death-trap-perps-listings-analyst-says\">commented<\/a> Arete Capital founding partner Ilya Pavelyev.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Futures allow trading with relatively little capital thanks to leverage. For them, nothing has changed except price. As bitcoin recovers and liquidity returns, AI-project tokens will revisit their all-time highs. The sell-off shows previous valuations were detached from fundamentals. What the sector needs for growth is not incremental improvements but major, visible innovation and a return of liquidity.<\/p>\n<p>He does not recommend trying to &#8220;buy AI agents at the bottom&#8221; \u2014 the odds of timing the lowest entry are poor.
