(@Uniswap) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Uniswap\/status\/1885329579495080248?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">January 31, 2025<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p> <script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>Liquidity pools for v4 are already available through the web application, with swaps to be added in the coming days.<\/p>\n<p>According to the team, the upgrade has &#8220;transformed the Uniswap protocol into a developer platform.&#8221; The core of the new version is special &#8220;hook&#8221; contracts that allow detailed customization of parameters for pools, swaps, fees, and interactions between orders.<\/p>\n<p>The creators noted that v4 is the most cost-effective version of the protocol to date. Pool organization will be 99.9% cheaper than in the previous iteration, Uniswap v3. Swap users are promised savings on multi-address exchanges.<\/p>\n<p>According to the team, the development incorporated suggestions from &#8220;hundreds of community participants.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The update&#8217;s code underwent nine security audits, and the company paid out $15.5 million as part of a bounty program. No critical vulnerabilities were found.<\/p>\n<p>In July 2023, the Uniswap team announced that they would launch the fourth version of the protocol within four months after the <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/ethereum-developers-activate-dencun-hard-fork-on-mainnet\">Dencun hard fork<\/a> on the Ethereum blockchain.<\/p>\n<p>Shortly before this, the creators published a &#8220;draft&#8221; of the v4 code, which had yet to undergo several audits and refinements.<\/p>\n<p>Analysts at dYdX estimate that by 2025, the trading volume of derivatives on DEXs will reach $3.48 trillion.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Uniswap Labs has released an update to the Uniswap protocol, unveiling Uniswap v4.
