The original name <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/ai-bot-token-ai16z-reaches-market-cap-of-100-million\">was chosen<\/a> in honor of the renowned venture firm Andreessen Horowitz (a16z).<\/p>\n<p>Subsequently, the project became a leading force in artificial intelligence within the crypto sector, necessitating a rebranding to avoid trademark infringement.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cIn just three months, we have increased our <span data-descr=\"assets under management\" class=\"old_tooltip\">AUM<\/span> by 300 times. We are now evolving by creating a unified brand and working on Eliza v2\u2014the most versatile agent framework ever created. Our world-class team is focused on building <span data-descr=\"artificial general intelligence\" class=\"old_tooltip\">AGI<\/span> and making a real impact,\u201d Walters noted.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>A16z managing partner Chris Dixon stated during a podcast <a href=\"https:\/\/unchainedcrypto.com\/chris-dixon-on-why-we-will-finally-see-new-app-innovation-in-crypto\/\">interview<\/a> that the organization requested the AI platform to change its name.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cWe were not affiliated with ai16z. I believe they are in the process of changing [the name]. We asked them to do so. It just created a bit of confusion,\u201d he noted.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The project will retain the ticker AI16Z for now, with any future changes occurring after a decentralized vote within the DAO.<\/p>\n<p>The rebranding does not involve issuing new tokens or changes to the roadmap.
