Rivals MARA Holdings, Riot Platforms and Hut 8 Mining had crossed that threshold earlier.<\/p>\n<p>Later, it emerged that a proposal to allocate part of Meta\u2019s liquid reserves to buying digital gold had been submitted to the board.
