This conclusion was reached by <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.coinshares.com\/how-trumps-victory-could-boost-bitcoin-s-prospects-c5bb8d3c5bc8\">CoinShares<\/a>.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>&#8220;The proposal will establish digital gold as a strategic reserve asset, with the US government able to acquire up to 5% of the available issuance,&#8221;<\/em> the report states.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>According to analysts, in this scenario, Bitcoin will gain greater legitimacy.<\/p>\n<p>In July, ForkLog <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/senator-cynthia-lummis-proposes-bill-for-us-bitcoin-reserves\">reported<\/a> on the preparation of the Bitcoin Act by Wyoming Senator Cynthia Lummis.<\/p>\n<p>The document proposes the purchase of no more than 200,000 BTC per year over a five-year period, allowing the US to accumulate a total of 1 million coins. Later, Trump <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/donald-trump-sees-bitcoin-as-a-solution-to-us-national-debt\">suggested<\/a> using Bitcoin to pay off the national debt.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>&#8220;If the law is passed, there will be significant interest in the asset from institutions and governments, potentially accelerating its popularization and pushing prices to new heights,&#8221;<\/em> CoinShares concluded.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Analysts also recalled <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/bitcoin-dips-to-67000-amid-trumps-bitcoin-2024-speech\">Trump&#8217;s criticism of the <span data-descr=\"US Securities and Exchange Commission\" class=\"old_tooltip\">SEC<\/span><\/a> and his desire to dismiss the agency&#8217;s chairman, Gary Gensler.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, CLO of Variant Fund Jake Chervinsky outlined the priorities of the agency following the return of a Republican to the White House.<\/p>\n<p>Following Trump&#8217;s victory, the community was enthused.
