They had been inactive for eight years.<\/p>\n<p>In the same month, a nearly 12-year dormant address <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/dormant-bitcoin-address-awakens-after-12-years-moves-35-million\">moved all its 500 BTC<\/a>, worth ~$35 million.<\/p>\n<p>In January, analysts at CryptoQuant <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/dormant-bitcoin-worth-2-1-billion-moves-after-five-years\">noted the movement<\/a> of 49,866 BTC that had been dormant for over five years.
