In June, the company&#8217;s founder, Michael Saylor, described bitcoin as &#8220;economic immortality,&#8221; which <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/michael-saylor-predicts-bitcoins-ascent-to-10-million\">will allow corporations to &#8220;live forever&#8221;<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In the second quarter of 2024, MicroStrategy acquired digital gold worth $805 million, <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/microstrategy-acquires-805-million-in-bitcoin-in-q2\">bringing its total holdings to 226,500 BTC<\/a>.
