In January, the companies <a href=\"https:\/\/www.prnewswire.com\/news-releases\/figure-announces-commercial-agreement-with-bmw-manufacturing-to-bring-general-purpose-robots-into-automotive-production-302036263.html\">signed<\/a> a commercial agreement, and in June, the robot developer demonstrated its efficiency at the automaker&#8217;s facility.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Figure Status Update - BMW Full Use Case\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/K1TrbI0BaaU?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div>\n<\/figure>\n<p>In February, the startup <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/ai-startup-figure-secures-675-million-from-microsoft-and-jeff-bezos\">secured<\/a> $675 million with a valuation of $2 billion from OpenAI, Microsoft, Jeff Bezos, Nvidia, Intel, and other investors.<\/p>\n<p>In March, the company showcased the first result of its collaboration with OpenAI \u2014 the bot learned to communicate in real-time using ChatGPT.<\/p>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/telegram.org\/js\/telegram-widget.js?22\" data-telegram-post=\"forklogAI\/4550\" data-width=\"100%\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>Figure&#8217;s competitor, Tesla, introduced a humanoid robot in 2021.
