The company was the first in the United States to implant a neural interface into a human brain.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/telegram.org\/js\/telegram-widget.js?22\" data-telegram-post=\"forklogAI\/2488\" data-width=\"100%\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>Apple released the Vision Pro earlier this year. The gadget can be controlled via eye movements, voice commands, or hand gestures. Synchron is working to make the device accessible to patients unable to speak or move their upper limbs.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Synchron CEO Thomas Oxley noted that Apple&#8217;s ecosystem is best in class, which is why the firm focused on the Vision Pro. Future plans include connecting the BCI to other headsets.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The first to test the new solution was a 64-year-old patient named Mark, who began using the Vision Pro in April. He also enjoys stargazing with a special application.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Previously, Synchron integrated OpenAI&#8217;s generative AI into its BCI platform. Mark was the first to test the technology for communication with his doctor.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Although Synchron is a pioneer in integrating neural interfaces into the brain, the concept gained widespread attention following the successes of Elon Musk&#8217;s Neuralink.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Back in January, the billionaire&#8217;s startup <a href=\"https:\/\/u1f987.com\/en\/news\/neuralink-successfully-implants-first-brain-chip-in-human\">implanted<\/a> its first brain chip in a human.
