The AI can now &#8220;see&#8221; the\u2026 <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/VwTsW8XeRQ\">pic.twitter.com\/VwTsW8XeRQ<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Erik Voorhees (@ErikVoorhees) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ErikVoorhees\/status\/1813939403225764069?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">July 18, 2024<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p> <script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>Launched in May by ShapeShift founder Erik Voorhees, the AI is privacy-focused and positions itself as an alternative to centralized models like OpenAI&#8217;s ChatGPT, Anthropic&#8217;s Claude, and Google&#8217;s Gemini. <\/p>\n<p>Prior to the update, Venice AI was limited to knowledge from two years ago and struggled to compete with more popular AI models offering real-time responses. <\/p>\n<p>Now, the neural network &#8220;can see the internet&#8221; and provide current information with source links. <\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>&#8220;Unlike ChatGPT\/Claude\/Gemini, all conversations with Venice are private and require no permissions. Venice does not see your messages or responses, and all data is stored locally in your browser.
