US presidential candidate Donald Trump has suggested the release of a fourth NFT collection due to “community demand.” He made this statement in an interview with Bloomberg<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“I’m going to launch another [collection] because that’s what the people want,”<\/em> he stated.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Trump cited the successful experience of the MugShot series, which was dedicated to the theme of his current criminal charges. The tokens sold out in a day instead of the year allocated for this, the politician noted.<\/p>\n

Since 2022, the billionaire’s team has been actively promoting his brand in the cryptocurrency world \u2014 for instance, through the NFT collection Trump Digital Trading Cards<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Trump’s views have significantly shifted with the start of the election campaign. The Republican candidate has likely identified cryptocurrency supporters as an important voter group.<\/p>\n

According to the presidential candidate, such experiences have “opened his eyes” to digital assets in general. He expressed a desire to make the US a leader in this field and not allow other countries like China to “take over.”<\/p>\n

Trump also acknowledged the changing attitude towards the industry from banks.<\/p>\n

Betting on Politics<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Bets on winning the US presidential election in November have led to record activity on the prediction platform Polymarket, according to Dune Analytics<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The transaction volume on the platform since the beginning of July reached $118 million \u2014 more than any other month in its history. In terms of active traders, July’s figure (22,540) still lags behind June’s (29,432).<\/p>\n
