In such cases, users will need to reconfirm the transaction order.<\/p>\n<p>The regulator will also verify the consent for digital ruble transfers, with the option to decline the transaction.<\/p>\n<p>Banks participating in the Russian CBDC platform are required to provide clients with recommendations to mitigate the risks of dubious transactions before entering into an account agreement.<\/p>\n<p>Expert opinions on the draft are being accepted until June 28.<\/p>\n<p>If approved, the document will come into effect 10 days after its official publication, but not before January 1, 2025.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, ForkLog reported on a new scam involving the digital ruble.<\/p>\n<p>The law on the national digital currency came into force on August 1, 2023.<\/p>\n<p>That same month, testing of the CBDC for individuals and businesses in Russia began with the participation of 13 banks.
