This was highlighted by participants at the <a href=\"https:\/\/vk.com\/video-25232578_456317691?utm_source=ss_tg_crypto&#038;utm_medium=crypto&#038;utm_campaign=ss_tg_crypto\">RBC-Crypto forum<\/a> titled \u201cMining and Cryptocurrencies: Architecture of Growth.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>According to the Industrial Mining Association, large data centers dedicated to cryptocurrency mining could provide liquidity for cross-border transactions exceeding 240 billion rubles.<\/p>\n<p>Moreover, the introduction of specific legislation could resolve issues related to transactions between Russian businesses and foreign partners. However, after years of discussions, officials have made little progress on this matter, noted Andrey Lugovoy, the first deputy chairman of the State Duma Committee on Security and Anti-Corruption.<\/p>\n<p>He remarked that the tone of discussions has changed \u2014 cryptocurrency is no longer equated with criminal activity.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cAs of today, I will be frank and honest, the situation is appallingly bad, we have made no progress,\u201d stated Lugovoy.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>He also described the lack of cryptocurrency market regulation in Russia as \u201cplaying into the hands of the sanctions policy against the country.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Anton Gorelkin, Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Information Policy, Information Technology and Communications, believes the current situation benefits only the Bank of Russia, providing it with \u201cpeace of mind.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cFrom the perspective of the Central Bank, there are no Russian cryptocurrency users,\u201d noted Gorelkin, referring to the regulator&#8217;s latest market research.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Forum participants also discussed the prospects of the <span data-descr=\"digital financial assets\" class=\"old_tooltip\">DFA<\/span> market.
